Fitbit one do not sync anymore. Lollipop?

I have problems with sync to my phone but not to the computer. Have had my "one" in little over a week now and it worked perfectly until the day before yesterday. It said that it needed to be updated so then I did it but there was no difference. Saw that "Lollipop" has problems with sync, but it worked you before??

I forgot to say that I get a red circle mark with an exclamation mark in the right side of "Sync now" in the app.

I read a tip about turn off other Bluetooth devices and restart my Fitbit but it made no difference.

I have done software update but it did not solve the problem either.

Now I update the software in my phone, see if that helps.

Very grateful for assistance

Frida

Hi there @Knownonick welcome to the forums! Ok according to the list of steps you followed to make your Fitbit One works, I can see that you haven't tried the following yet:

- Reboot the Bluetooth on your phone

- Please try to force quit the Fitbit app on your Android device

- If that doesn't help, please try to uninstall and reinstall the app on your phone

- Please check out if your phone needs a software update

If after try that, your One still not syncing, please let me know! Woman Wink

Hello again!

I solved the problem before I saw your answer. I had done all the things you suggested before but failed to be clear enough to communicate it.

Anyway, the last item in your list (to update your phone software) was the last I tried and it worked !! Since then, it has not messed at all. I noticed that the look of the app got a bit different so the update of the phone affected the Fitbit app.

Tore my hair but now I'm happy again ..

I think you have a very good help forum. Much appreciated!

Hi @kslagle1980 is very cool to see new members around. Woman Happy Thanks for letting me know about the steps you already followed to sync your Fitbit One. However, I can see that you have not tried to restart it yet. In addition, there are some steps that I would like you to follow on this article "I can't sync my tracker". If you are trying to sync with a mobile device, please try to reboot the Bluetooth on your phone and then try to sync.

Keep me updated! I'll be around. Woman Very Happy

I am sorry. I did not include that in the email. I started with that post
and followed all directions. I have also rebooted my bluetooth. I can
sync with my computer but not with the phone and this has been since 9/27.
it appears that a lot of people are also having difficulty syncing since
this date.

Thanks for getting back to me @kslagle1980! hmmm sounds a little weird that you are only able to sync with your computer but no with your mobile device. But don't worry, I believe that its time for you to get in touch with our Customer Support team, so they can take a look of your account and see what they can do to fix these issues or what other options they can offer to get you back on track.

I too am having the same problem.  I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab A and was able to sync without any problems, now all of a sudden I can't.  I have done everything mentioned as well as un-pairing it and now I can't even get it to pair again.

Any other suggestions?  I have powered the fitbit one down per instructions, I forced stopped the app, I un-installed and re-installed, have turned blue tooth on and off several times, and checked to see if I had any updates, but everything is current.

After over a month of syncing fine, my Fitbit One stopped syncing about 10 days ago with my computer.  I tried all the troubleshooting steps recommended, including trying to uninstall Fitbit Connect and reinstall it.  I cannot uninstall it from my computer.  I called support and after a fruitless half hour conversation, the person said he needed to "escalate" my case and have me speak to someone else.  Then he told me that'd call me in 24 - 48 hours.  I then received an email saying there were aware of this problem and working on it.  That was a week ago and I have heard nothing more.  This is very frustrating.  Has anyone else had this issue and if so, were you able to solve it and how?  I did try syncing it on a friend's computer and that worked but I need to get it working on my computer.  Thanks for any input.

Hey hey hey @schnauzermom welcome to the Community! If you already contacted Customer Support, I suggest you that in the meantime, try to use a mobile device that is compatible, in order to sync your Fitbit One. I understand how you feel about how long is taking this issue to be resolved, but don't worry, Fitbit engineering team is working to resolve this as fast as they can. Smiley Wink

I appreciate your patience into this matter!

My fitbit app isn't syncing on its own. I have to turn off my phone's bluetooth then turn it back on and go back to my app and it starts to sync on its own or I have to manually do it. This happens several times a week. Sometimes it doesn't sync for a couple of hours other times it's all day until I notice that my device isn't showing the same as the app.

I've tried EVERY suggestion in the forums and communities, without consistent success.

Often times my fitbit doesn't sync for several hours or app day. The only way I am able to do a complete sync is to turn off my phone's bluetooth, turn it right back on then go back to my fitbit app and it has already begun to sync on its own. I keep the all day sync on in the app. I've even tried turning it off and on, before turning off my phone bluetooth.

This has happened more times than I'd like.

I am also having problems with synching.  I have had the Fitbit for almost 2 years and it was working fine till 1 week ago when it stopped synching.  It does not work on my iPhone, iPad, or PC. I have done everything suggested- turned blue tooth off and on, restarted my phone and computer, deleleted and reinstalled the fitbit app, uninstalled and reinstalled the program on my computer, and made sure that all updates have  been installed. Any other suggestions??

Unfortunately, I don't have a mobile device.  I've used a friend's computer to sync once this week, but obviously that's not a permanent solution.

My One quit syncing with my PC in Iate March of this year.  I have tried the troubleshooting suggestions given.  Nothing has worked.  Had no problems with One until now.  Have had it for about 2 years.  If the problem does not resolve then will be looking at other options.  Hate to lose my points with my health provider and Walgreens!

This is obviously a problem with the provider.  Too many people are having issues.

My fitbit is also about 2 years old and never had a problem until just recently when I got an laptop with windows 10.  I was thinking something with Apple and windows was the problem and relocated the laptop and did all the updates on my computer, laptop and iPad......still notl syncing.  I just turned the tracker off and when it came back on, it synced.  Had a hard time finding how to turn it off so try it.  Plug it into the charger, hold the button town for 15 seconds, removed from the charger and push the button again and it will come back on.  I didn't lose anything.  I hope I got all the steps because I know how annoying things can be when they don't work.  Now I have to look into the Walgreens .....have no idea what that is about.

Good luck

Cathy
