Hey I recently replaced my fit bit one. I would charge it and minutes later the Fitbit would be dead. The new Fitbit has the same problem, I'll charge it and within hours after battery full symbol it's dead.
The old Fitbit used to hold it's charge for almost 2 weeks
What can I do to correct this?

How are you charging it? Try a different USB port and see if it helps
Also See this thread for charging best practices. If you are not charging it correctly you could be damaging the battery

This has also just started happening to me, and it is extremely frustrating. It's more than it not holding a charge and turning off; it is also not recording my activity properly. I've done the restart and different ports for charging. I was thinking mine had just lived it's life (2.5 years old) and just going and buying a new one, but apparently there's no guarantee that one will work either!
