Fitbit one randomly shuts down

My Fitbit one began to randomly shut down. It won't count steps, shuts down during the sleep mode, subtracts steps, and even has added the previous day's steps to the following day. Most frequently steps will simply disappear.

I have tried repeatedly to restart as Fitbit suggests. They say to contact again if the above did not work I am ready for the next possible solution. I keep hearing of others with the same problem so I am reluctant to buy another Fitbit one, but I don't like the ones to wear on your wrist.

It's going on three years. Do you know what the expected life is? I couldn't find any info on that.

I really don't think there is a set time. Mine is also going on 3 years as well and I expect to start having problems. But when it does I will buy a new one Love my One 🙂

Love mine too. Reached customer service today and they said it can't be fixed at this point. It's not under warranty anymore so they offered 25% off to order a new one. Thanks!

Thanks for posting this issue. I am having the same issue (and my Fitbit One is even older). Sadly they do not make the One any more so I don't have the option to purchase a new Fitibit one (I already had one die and I am using my husband's currently). I am very sad as I have been using a Fitibit for many, many years.

I know, mine has been acting up again too. I don’t know what I’m going to do when it dies. I don’t want to have to wear one on my wrist and am surprised there is not an option for us. Three of my friends had to switch to the wrist style and do not like it as well.
