My Fitbit one began to randomly shut down. It won't count steps, shuts down during the sleep mode, subtracts steps, and even has added the previous day's steps to the following day. Most frequently steps will simply disappear.
I have tried repeatedly to restart as Fitbit suggests. They say to contact again if the above did not work I am ready for the next possible solution. I keep hearing of others with the same problem so I am reluctant to buy another Fitbit one, but I don't like the ones to wear on your wrist.

I really don't think there is a set time. Mine is also going on 3 years as well and I expect to start having problems. But when it does I will buy a new one Love my One 🙂

Best AnswerThanks for posting this issue. I am having the same issue (and my Fitbit One is even older). Sadly they do not make the One any more so I don't have the option to purchase a new Fitibit one (I already had one die and I am using my husband's currently). I am very sad as I have been using a Fitibit for many, many years.
