Fitbit one screen scratch

I understand the fitbit one is a pedometer and its going in my pocket so pocket lint scratches the screen. Why are these fitbits so easy to scratch? Does anyone else have the same problem, and how about some tips to prevent scratches? I just bought mine and they are really hard to come across now so I am being really protective.

@Sgtkeebler Welcome to the Fitbit family! There are some other ways to wear your One apart from wearing it inside your pocket. Check this out:
