My fit bit one dashboard shows yesterday's data. I've restarted my phone, no change. My tablet synced ok.

@Ppattyd is there a reason yesterday's data should not be showing? Im not sure what your asking? Where you not wearing it yesterday?  Is the word dashboard referring to the App, or web dashboard. Im wondering if your seeing todays data?

@cwhornbec first thought i have is how long ago does the phone app said you synced. The data is correct on the phone and it syncs phone with the laptop. A note here, it doesn't matter how you sync, all syncing sends your trackers data to the website, not your computer or phone wich is only a door to pass through.

Your seeing yesterdays data also, how about todays?

It is possible that when looking at the phone, you where seeing a live data feed from the One. Thats why i asked to check how long ago was the last sync.

I resolved the issue by the next day. On the app's dashboard on my phone only the previous day's data showed and would not update. I wear my FIT BIT one 24/7. I have constant syncing issues where the phone shows steps but they don't match the Fit bit even though the dashboard show that it synced less than a minute ago. Thanks for responding.

I'm having the same issues. The app on my phone and computer is not syncing to the correct steps, even though it had just synced. It also tells me my location is not on. Not sure why location has to be on but it always is on. I tried twice to have Fitbit resolve this but no luck. No I'm being told my tracker can't be found. Sooooo frustrating!

Hello @mymetz1 let's start with location, android made a change in Marshmallow that requires this.

Have you tried a restart of the tracker?? Or checked the doc on troubleshooting

Hi @Rich_Laue I just restarted the tracker, will that fix the issue? What do you mean Marshmallow made a change about location? Any info you can give me would be greatly appreciated! Thank you 🙂

About location, Fitbit uses the Mac address of the tracker to identify it.. The latest android OS, Marshmellow, requires location to be turned on before it will send the MAC of an attached USB connected device to an app.

Will a restart fix it, I don't know, did it? if the tracker isn't syncing correctly it might, or doing a restart of the I one could do it.. Now if it is syncing fine and not displaying correctly in the app, but looks fine on the web, log out/in on the app.
