Is anyone still having problems with syncing their Fitbit? Apparently it’s all fixed now and mine still won’t. I’m in challenges and I’ve lost steps. Help

I lost about 2 weeks of data but it is syncing now

I have found that if you put the Fitbit One into the charger, cut it off and hold down the power button for 12 seconds, then cut it back on- all while in the charger, it will sync. Even though Bluetooth does not recognize the device, it must be on as well as the location for it to sync. The app must be opened too. Sometimes, even after all that, you have to refresh the app several times for this to work. I have to do this every third or fourth day now to sync it. Only other solution is to leave your phone's location and Bluetooth on all day and keep the app running in the background- which works, but I will not do. Hope this helps.

Thank you but I was able to fix mine and it’s now syncing.

Don’t think that will work, support told me to go into app and forget device then add it as a new device. It saved all my data and synced straight away. I had already tried deleting and re installing the app. A few people have now had success, give it a try

Have you tried forget device then add new device, it seems to be helping others. Worked for me 🤞

I have done the same things for 2 solid days until I was told to “forget this device” from the Fitbit app , then add as a new one . It’s not complicated to do - quite easy and simple . Mine worked

I have gone on the Fitbit app settings and “remove device “ I think it said - then there’s a plus sign to ADD DEVICE . You can add it again . Its as if yr adding a new Fitbit . It’s quite easy to do

If that’s what worked for you , it’s good . After troubleshooting I had to speak to an agent and was asked to forget device ... it worked for me with no complications. Am not a thec geek ! So the simple way is always better 🙂

Hi, I’m just wondering if your syncing issue was ever resolved, and how? My Fitbit One started doing the same thing yesterday: it tracks my steps, however it will not sync with my iPhone 12.

Any tips, suggestions, guidance you can offer are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have an iPhone 7 and what finally worked was to open the app, click on my account then click on One.  After that I clicked on remove this One and then added it.  I did lose data but it is syncing again,

Hope this helps,

I did the above. It worked and today it is also syncing properly with MFP. Thank goodness. I love my One.

Not even sure my situation would involve the phone app.

With my issue I think it was desk top computer, recent Windows update gone bad. Just hoping the next update corrects the issue.

I got the PC app to work again by using the restarting computer. The really weird thing is when I shut down the computer at night and then start it up in the morning the Fitbit app doesn't work, I have to click the restart to restart the PC and only then does the Fitbit app boot up for me. Makes no sense but that is about the best I can explain this. If I didn't see so many people having the same issue, I would be blaming the computer not Fitbit but now I'm not so sure.

Regards,
Len

Actually, instead of removing my One, I was able to replace it. I lost no data, and it seems to be working.
Thanks!

Hi PalmTrees, I finally got My One to sync today!! I think it was the last update put out by the company and holding the button down longer after plugging it into the computer tower.  Hope you got yours to work?

Yes, I had to go to the app, remove my One and then add it again.  I did lose data but it's syncing.
