Food item not deleting

I accidentally put a food item in twice - I've followed the delete instructions for iOS on Apple phone and slid the item to left and hit delete button and it appears to be deleted - but when I go out of the app and back in again it's back! As though was never deleted. How do I make the deletion permanent? Help please!

I'd like to report that we've had some reports regarding the food logs not deleting, and our development team is aware of this issue. They'll be investigating this further and see what can be done to get this fixed.
