Implementation of a Journal

Wouldn't it be nice to have a journal? Maybe for personal use or share with your doctor. Ex. "Woke with migraine" or "Feeling refreshed". Maybe an explanation as to why you were restless for 50 minutes through the night. Everything regarding sleep, exercise, etc could be together and not in a "personal thoughts" journal. What do y'all ad ll think?

We used to have a journal feature but very few used it so it was removed. It requires tech maintanence on the server side and if no one is using it.... well.....

Any chances of reviving this feature, or finding a partner app that could do this?

Yes please! I think it wasn't being used a lot in the past because it was honestly pretty bad and in a difficult to find place. It was also when Fitbit was newer (I think it got removed in 2014); most people were still just blogging in MFP. But now that Fitbit is more popular, I think it would be a great addition to the community feature.

Hello! @paumorande @vivianleemit and welcome to the Fitbit forums. Please check this feature suggestion about a Fitbit Journal. It is "not currently planned", so I don't think that will be implemented anytime soon.

However, the idea of having a third party app to do that is not bad. I recommend posting that idea on the Feature Suggestions Board. That way users can vote for it!

See you around!
