Inaccurate stair count for Fit Bit One

My "One" registers flights of stairs over and above the amount of stairs that I actually climb in a day. I don't know how to get it be be more accurate.

It does not count each stair. You just need to go up 10 feet in elevation for it to count a Floor. No stopping either.

Thank you for your reply. However; like yesterday, it said I climbed 81 flights of stairs. And there is no way on earth that I climbed that many flights of stairs yesterday. But I did read an article that it calculates by "elevation " ... So I think that is what going on with my device. Still strange though.... 😳

They can be added if its windy or cold as well.

 

Wne it happens to me I do a restart. It wont take te floors away but it has made it stop doing it

 

Do the Restart at least 3 times
