For the second time in a year I lost my Fitbit One. When I go to replace it, I see the major local stores, Target, Walmart, Best Buy no longer carry it and even on Amazon, only the black model readily available. Is the Fitbit One being discontinued and if so, is it being replaced?

Not an acceptable solution ... so can't click that button.
I refuse to wear a wrist model .
I bought my granddaughter the ZIP for Christmas last year and she has to replace the expensive battery every 2 months... not the six you have stated on website. I might have considered it as an option if it were rechargeable .
So question is... will you still support the ONE if we still have it?
If not, I will be looking at some other brand when this one breaks.

So is this the reason that I cannot sync my one? Just because it seems that you are discontinuing it, I can no longer use it? Please advise as I am very exasperated these last few weeks!

Zip doesn't track floors. I will miss the one if it is no longer available and will look for other options (i.e. outside fitbit) when needed if you do not offer a comparable clip based product.

Dear Fitbit
I'm very disappointed in the companies decision to discontinue the ONE. A very quality product that served me well for the past three years. I do not want to wear a watch and the Zip is -- well, it is not zippy in the features. The ONE was the one for me! My present unit has traveled three continents and been with me over 6.4 million steps. That's a lot of vistas, stairs, mesas, streets, plus hills, mountains, and river plains. The battery is dying and alas there is no replacement for the ONE. I do not need, nor want, to buy a watch. It's not for me. If I have to invest in a fitness tracker, it'll be the Apple watch device. Until my present ONE dies without a recharge (I have to plug it in every three days), I will get another product line.
Sorry. But your attitude posted about focus and product offerings are obviously falling on deaf ears here. You made a great product. The ONE was in tune with users. This gentle slap in the fact about focus shows that your vision is not with your customers. You may remember customers are the driving force for revenue which keeps the company alive. Plus, your company has a fiduciary responsibility to the stockholders. Apparently, revenue and profit are not in your vision, either.
Please reconsider this stupid move. Some bean counter in your company can point to a spreadsheet and hopefully see something green, not red, on the ONE line.
Thank you for your time. Meanwhile, I'm stepping out and hiking to another fitness device within a month.

Something else I think most are forgetting. You can get clip/clasp for the charge 2, alta hr and flex 2 to wear them elsewhere on the body. Then these will work just as well as the one does. I know this is not the answer that many of us want but it does work. I even did it with my blaze for a couple of months and worked great. Just didn't get HR other than that it was splendid

Chris92057, that's very strange, because I was just on Fitbit Chat because my One has not been holding a charge for more than a few days. They're sending me a new One under warranty. I also had a choice of a different device at a 50% discount. I opted for the One, because I love it.
I just saw the rest of the post that talks about Fitbit discontinuing the One. Bummer. I'm glad I can still get one.

Sorry, but have to disagree Craig, been comparing an Alta with my One for 2 months. Way too many steps on the wrist, no where near enough when in the clip. And I've tried the clip in pockets, on waistbands, on bras, only place it gets close is clipped on a side pocket of my daggy old tracksuit pants.

I recently looked into the Flex 2, but there was no clip available. Only a bracelet or pendant nrither of which suit my requirements. Don't know why they can;t make a discreet clip for it.
