Let Fitbit battery drain before charging?

Hi all! Now that I have my replacement Fitbit One (which is going good so far, although it is already at half a charge when I've only had it 5 days...)

But should I let the battery pretty much drain completely, or get low before charging it? Will that make any difference to the battery life?

Or charging it with half a charge be okay too?

I just want to maximise my battery 🙂

Absolutely not!  If anything that will reduce your battery's life.  Fitbits have modern lithium ion type batteries which respond best to being kept being approx 25-85% charged.  The best advice is to avoid overcharging (don't leave it on overnight) and also, if possible, avoid deep discharge.  Little and often is best.  Charging it at 50% is just fine.
