I only have a USB piece to plug into the computer to charge, not anything I clip the one onto...if I were to give the one to someone, will that be okay? Do they need that other piece?

they can buy a belt clip, necklace or bracelet on ebay or amazon if they want one, as long as they have the charger they can use the fitbit.
