Since the app update each time I use my iMac app sync I get this: more than one tracker found.
Then I have to sign in every single time. Always the same message. I have a one, an imac app, and iphone app. iPhone app works fine. I have deleted and reinstalled everything. I have restarted twice. Didn't work. Is my sync dongle seeing my Aria as another tracker??? It never did before.
There are no other trackers in the house. It's getting annoying.
Frustrated. I also get the msg: More than one tracker found. Every time I log in. Just started recently. Fitbit, You changed something. Time to correct your error. I only have 1 fitbit one and it never did this before.
Please correct soonest. Very bothersome. Frustrated.
I am also having this problem. A couple of years ago, I did have the Ultra, but all my logging since has been with my One. Also, my device used to sync more automatically. Now when I go to my dashboard, it'll show a "last sync at..." date & time. So I have to go to Fitbit Connect, which I didn't have to do, and log in again, which I didn't have to do. Before, I would be logged in indefinitely. Now I have to log in each time and it says there's another tracker, which there isn't. What happened, Fitbit?
Is this board just for us users to complain and maybe help each other? Or, does Fitbit actually pay attention and attempt to correct problems? Or, maybe we need to go to another place to seek solutions. I like everyones problem in hopes that will help it come to Fitbit's attention.
The more-than-one-device issue is, I do believe, a security related issue. Apparently the server doesn't process the log on info properly. Fitbit has commented in this forum that they are aware of the problem and are "looking into it". If this is like the other tech issues we've had, it will probably be some time before they sort it out. I know the FitBit Watch met with mixed results at CES recently, so they are probably focused on salvaging that in lieu of actually helping customers.
As for a workaround, the only thing I know is a user has to sign on each time a sync is needed. A pain in the butt, yes, but at least after you jump through that hoop you can sync from the desktop.
Not only did it do this to me, but at the same time it lost about 9 days of data... no steps at all recorded. Why carry it if it doesn't keep the data!
Best AnswerThis is very interesting. There was another thread that was recently closed down about the same issue with HR. It was closed as it was deemed that the recent update 'should' have fixed the problem. Well, it didn't, and I'm still having the same problems. I was very patient through the whole thing, but now I'm just angry. I'm still having problems, and the problem is not fixed. I have sent my logs to Fitbit, but no response as of yet.
I variously have a No Dongle message as well. I have the latest update, and have done everything that was suggested. The only way I can get this to work is if i place my Fitbit literally on top of the dongle, and this is actually a pain, as the USB port is on the rear of the Mac. Previously I was able to be wearing it and be able to sync. I just want it to work the way it did before.
