I've had to reinstall my fitbit one everyday for the past week. The fitbit one works but it will not sync unless I uninstall and reinstall. This fact and the battery drain issue is making me feel that fitbit is trying to force the fitbit one users to buy another of their products.
This reminds me of what happened when jawbone discontinued my bodymedia fit Jan. 2016.
That's when I purchased a fitbit one. Here we go again.
Same problem. My One won't sync, the battery drains in a day and a half. I have tried everything in the Help section. This has been a wonderful tracker and I don't want to buy a watch-type tracker as I have a really nice watch. Please help get my One syncing.

When I uninstall/install I'm on my PC/ Windows 10. Last night I tried the following fix thinking maybe the bluetooth driver was corrupted.
I uninstalled the Bluetooth driver..shut down/restart after uninstall.
That way, the system will automatically install the generic Bluetooth driver.
So far this has worked for me. I don't have the smart phone device so I don't know how this
would be done on these devices. I come back to the forums if this fix doesn't stick.
Thanks mohrtools for your advice.Restarting the tracker and then restarting my iphone solved the issue. It is now syncing. thanks! 🙂
Best AnswerI've returned to update my previous post of 4 days ago. Each day since that post I've done an uninstall/reinstall on my pc windows 10 & fitbit app. After this my fitbit one would sync till the next day.
Well today 12/9/17 the previous fixes stopped working. I will continue to try to find a fix but I will not be shopping for another fitbit product. I feel this company wants us to do this when they stop supporting
a product. I will return if I find a fix of the fitbit one. I'm not really wanting to devote more of my time on a problem this company is aware of but not willing to do the right thing for it's customers.
Best AnswerYay! We're in business again. Plugged it in, held in for 20 secs to be on the safe side then turned mobile off and on again. No it has synced. Thank you!
Best AnswerLooks like this is a recurring problem. Maybe has something to do with updating, maybe just because they don't want to deal with Fitbit One, now that they have discontinued it. Which, IMO, was a bad move. It was ideal for those of us who don't want to wear a watch-type tracker. Plus, it gave me just what I needed to know, without the HR tracking, etc. Nice to have I suppose, but not an issue for me. I have tried re-booting a number of times now, with no luck. It seems to sync once or twice a day, or thereabouts, but never when I want it to. I went round and round with useless tech support when it started having problems, and saying that it may be synced with another program, and to disconnect it. Which I did, with no change. Still says it is connected to another platform. This started intermittently in Nov., and has gotten worse since. It was also shutting down and not tracking.
