It would be wise to produce an updated One design--I like the charging ability and do not like the battery powered Zip. People with autoimmune conditions often cannot wear a bracelet. Lupus, Psoriasis, the cutaneous diseases and there a millions of us! Thanks for thinking about it because my One is not charging anymore.

Please feel free to vote for this Feature Suggestion asking for a new updated clip on tracker to be released. The more votes, the better.
Also, Please check these tips for batteries that are not charging. This should help you out with that.

It's called supply and demand. I would thing Fitbit called it quits when the demand went away. They did keep the Zip and I imagine they actually lose money by keeping it in the supply line.
Also note, you can put the Flex 2 in a pendant.

Please comment on the feature suggestion shared on my post above. Those feature are very helpful for Fitbit to measure and determine the amount of users in need of a device with such characteristics. Thanks for supporting the idea.
