Bought the Fitbit one for my wife .......as it dosnt come with a mains charger I plugged it in to USB port ,however after 12 hours it still won't come on /light up .....the instructions on start up are non existant on the packaging and no start up manual .....cutting to the chase any one help out in the community ......thanks in anticipation .....David

Trekker - I'm looking at my Fitbit One.... I don't know how you got it charged without the mains charger?  My Fitbit one has got a doobob I have to dock the Fitbit into making sure the 2 contacts are in the right position and then THAT gets plugged into a USB port.

After the assumed 12 hour charge - will the unit respond any if you hold in the little button on the face side?....

Hi ...thanks for reply....knew how to plug the one into charging cable with the 2 noddles to connect inside ...have now plugged it in to the USB that my phone uses ,hope for success ...if it dosnt I'll be back for more guidance ....cheers for now from a complete newbie !!

@Trekkertrekker This is the charger. If it did not come with it you need to take it back to where you got it and exchange it

If it was bought here contact support. Use the Gear upper right corner of Forum and choose Support

You should also have a dongle this is to sync the device
