One Battery Draining Quickly

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My One isn't holding a charge. And when I say that, I mean that I can take it off the charger looking "full", wait 20 seconds to plug it back in, and it looks "empty". The same happens almost as quickly in reverse...I check on my "empty" One one the charger a minute later and it looks "full". This has gotten progressively worse over the past week or so, but really ramping up in the past few days. It's super frustrating and ridiculous, because the One has been a perfect option, as someone who can't stand wristbands.

So far, I have tried...

1) Restarting the One. So many times.

2) Cleaning the contacts between charger and One.

3) Charging via wall plug. Via car plug. Via computer.

4) Praying to eldritch gods.

5) Turning off one of my 3 silent alarms (which has never caused a battery problem in the past)

6) Making sure the phone/computer apps have "all-day sync" turned OFF

7) Making sure "live data" was turned off.

😎 Restarting again. And again.

Quick update: just went for a walk with my dog (~3 miles, 50 minutes). One displayed "full" before we left the house, and my phone was unable to connect as the wi-fi/bluetooth were both off. Upon returning to the house, my One had approx and 1/8th of its bttery left.
