One Not Updating and Getting Error 500

I am setting up my Fitbit one and it is saying it needs an update and then it gives me error 500 message

Regarding the error message; by any chance did you deleted your original account and are now using a new account? That error usually appears when that happens.

 

I'd recommend following these steps to complete the update. That should certainly help you out with this.

Yes i am using a new account but also the fitbit does not work unless it is plugged into the wall.
