One battery draining quickly

My Fitbit One tells me my battery is low quite often all of the sudden.  And it takes longer to charge as well.  It's about four years old.  Is it time for a new one?

Nope fitbit bricked every single one with a software update because they don't want to support it any more. It will never work again.

How very nice of them ....So I guess I need to eventually replace it.  The problem is that I'm allergic to metal and cannot where any of the wristband Fitbits.

I still use my ONE and I do have to charge it several times a week.  But it STILL works!

@Willsma @Aloha66 Welcome to the Fitbit forums! Thanks for taking the time to post the situation you are experiencing with the battery of your Fitbit One. I'm glad to read they are still working.

In this case, I'd recommend checking these tips to improve the battery power on your tracker. This should help on getting more out of the battery power.

I have no silent alarms set that would drain my battery.

I also called them and they were very helpful.  Their response was:

"When your battery is completely drained, meaning that your tracker is no longer responsive and you no longer see the low battery indicator, let us know the day you fully charged your tracker and the day it was fully depleted.  With this information, we’ll be able to better research how long your tracker's battery is lasting. If you have any other questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us."

My question is---How long do One Fitbits last?  Mine is about 4-5 years old.

@Willsma Thanks for your reply and for sharing those details. Also, thanks for contacting customer support regarding this matter. I'm glad to read they were helpful.

Fitbit One will last depending on its usage. I've seen this tracker has lasted years for several users. I can tell 4-5 years is a very long time, which I'm glad it has lasted.

In this case, I'd recommend to keep replying to customer support so they can provide more information and help regarding the battery power of your One.

Please do share any helpful information you may receive.

Thanks and keep me posted! Smiley Happy

Fitbit One battery can last up to two weeks. However, it will depend on usage and other factors. How old is it? I'd recommend checking the factors here that will help you improve the battery power.
