One doesn't light up off the charger

 My FitBit One lights up with the version number 6.64 and the battery indicator and will even give me the sync code on the charger.  As soon as you pull it off and try pressing the button, there's no response.  Tried the reset in the charger and still doesn't turn on.  Tried syncing with the software and short of cracking it open, I tried most if not all of the online solutions.  Is there anything that's "Offline" that can be tried?  Any help will be greatly appreciated!

SantiFit, I'm having the same issue. I've tried restarting, as well, but no luck. Would you please create a case for me, as well? Thank  you. I'm really hoping I can keep this One going.

To be honest your fit bit one is dead. Happened to my husband’s last year. No amount of rebooting, resetting etc that the tech people share with you will fix it. It is a discontinued product. I have no idea what I will do when mine dies.....

Mtnlyte, that's kinda what I'm figuring but a girl can dream, right? I actually bought a backup One a while ago on eBay so I'm prepared but still unhappy. Why they discontinued the One is beyond me.

Maryclair3...absolutely! I still try to fiddle with my husbands in hopes it magically fixes itself! I think if when I have to I will probably get the charge 3 or the flex 2 and just get a third party clip. My hubby can’t wear bracelets or necklaces for work. So It must clip on .  Oh well

Yes, we reached out to customer support a number of times. And was basically told there was nothing we can do. They gave us a discount on a new fit bit. Which the only clip on model you now carry is the zip. He had to downgrade to a lesser product because basically the old One never has worked since the 6.64 software update. It is now a neat counter decoration in our bathroom. Is the Flex 2 being discontinued as well?  I am trying to prepare for the day when my One does. And the flex 2 seems to be able to be used with a third party clip like I use for my One. It is frustrating that you are stopping to make clip on products. I work in a manufacturing plant and my husband works on very large generators and we are both not allowed to wear things on our wrist. Please do reconsider making a clip on style.

Fitbit continues to support Flex 2. Feel free to check it out as well as the different accessories you can use with it.

I am not referring to support for the flex 2...is it being discontinued like the One? I am not going to buy it if it too is going away....

Santifit, I see that there is a Fitbit created especially for corporate customers that has an option for a clip. Can you tell us why this device cannot be made available to all those of us who must have or prefer to use a clip-on? Thank  you!

My fitbit did the same thing...sadly there was no returning it to life, and no replacement for the One.

Santifit, this is the link for the corporate tracker. It has an optional clip accessory, which would be great for those of us who live the One. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to count stairs. But I'm confused as to why it's not available to all.

I don't have much information about this yet. By reading the page it seems it will be available "exclusively through Fitbit corporate, wellness, health plan, and health systems partners and customers of their organizations, participants, and members."

 

Once I have more information about it I will let you know.

I hope your back up one works. I just bought two unopened Fitbit 1’s and they were both dead. Good luck.
