One doesn't light up off the charger

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My FitBit One lights up with the version number 6.64 and the battery indicator and will even give me the sync code on the charger.  As soon as you pull it off and try pressing the button, there's no response.  Tried the reset in the charger and still doesn't turn on.  Tried syncing with the software and short of cracking it open, I tried most if not all of the online solutions.  Is there anything that's "Offline" that can be tried?  Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thank you.

I hope your back up one works. I just bought two unopened Fitbit 1’s and they were both dead. Good luck.

I've been using mine about a week now, seems to be fine. I hope you can get your money back!

Unfortunately, you don't. I've asked one of the Fitbit moderators why this product can't be made available to all of us. He said he'd look into it and get back to me on this thread so we'll see...

@Maxsmum2006 @maryclaire3 @aimeenola I hope you're doing well!

@maryclaire3 happy to hear that your tracker is working fine!

@Maxsmum2006 sorry to hear about this. Please contact the seller to request your money back. Fitbit hasn't been selling the Fitbit One for a long time now so be careful with these sellers.

@aimeenola thank you for your inquiry. The Inspire is currently available only for corporate members. Still if you are interested you can  share your suggestion in our Feature suggestions board. Search for the idea first to see if one already exist so you can add your vote. The more votes an idea gets the more likely the developers will try to implement it.

Let me know how it goes!

Alvaro, just to be clear, the Fitbit that I posted about originally is not working. It completely died. There was nothing Fitbit could suggest to fix it. If you can think of anything, please let me know.

I'm currently using a One that I purchased from eBay when I found out that Fitbit had discontinued the One. Those of us who love  our clip-on tracker will do whatever we can to keep it!

I bought two new in box and they were both dead. Sadly even tho they are unopened they are still four years old and I guess the batteries age. I wasted $120. And still have no Fitbit. I have been offered a discount on another Fitbit. But I love the 1. I’m contemplating the Alta which can be worn with a clip similar to the 1.

@maryclaire3 @Maxsmum2006 Thanks for your replies and for sharing those details and feedback regarding the One. Thanks for contacting customer support regarding this.

@maryclaire3 I'm glad you are currently using a new One and that is working properly. It's unfortunate to read that customer support was not able to help you out.

@Maxsmum2006 Fitbit Alta is a great choice! Let me know if you get one.

@BarbaraaF I hope you're doing well! Thanks for reporting that you are also experiencing this situation with your One not turning on.

I went ahead and contacted you via PM. Keep an eye on your Community inbox.

Opened a previously unopened Fitbit One.

DOA. Called customer service and DOA.

My recommendation, go old school & get a pedometer that does not rely on internet.

My old Omron HJ-112 (at least 15 years old now) has survived multiple washer & dryer cycles. Its features are much better (7 days memory for miles/steps/aerobic steps & calories). Still sold on Amazon, but of course about twice what I paid, $35.

@bb123thanks Welcome to the Fitbit forums! Thanks for taking the time to share the experience you have had with your One. It's unfortunate to read it was DOA. Thanks for contacting customer support regarding this. Did you got any solution to get back on track?

@BarbaraaF Thanks for your reply! Did you got any solution already with customer support? I've been informed you have an open case with them already!
