I've read other forums, but they don't seem to help. After an android update, I needed to restart my fitbit so that it would sync with my phone. I did this right before midnight and it worked! When I woke up my tracker hadn't reset and was continuing from yesterday's steps. Time zone is correct and I have restarted it 4 times. Still thinks I've walked 16,035 steps, but if you look at the dashboard steps intervals it says I have walked only 21 steps since midnight.
