I have been having this problem for a few months now. I did get it to sync to to my Mac but now it is not.
Here is the issue. My fitbit will not sync to my iPad nor my Mac. I have deleted the app and reinstalled on the iPad and uninstalled and reinstalled on the Mac. I have turned on and off the bluetooth and pulled and put back in the adapter for the computer. Nothing is working. My daughter has a Charge and has no issues with her devices. and my granddaughter has a flex and has no problems. Is it something with the One that is the issue. I would like to get this to sync to something. I would be happy with just one device working.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Fitbit Connect will not sync to my Mac, it will sync successfully with my iPad and with my laptop PC (Windows 7). Also, if I restart my Mac, I have to remove and reconnect the Fitbit dongle to get it to work (I believe this problem began with an upgrade to OS 10.11, El Capitan).

I'm all fixed now. I online chatted and downloaded some stuff, reset up my One and it is working better. It needs to be right next to the computer, but its works well enough.

I got a fitbit one a few days ago. I've read just about every tutorial and article I can find, I've restarted the tracker repeatedly, tired all sorts of configurations of the bluetooth settings, wireless dongle, and tracker (including having the tracker turn on and wait just inches from the wireless dongle). Haven't gotten it to sync yet. Fitbit Connect gets to the "Turn on Bluetooth..." page and just stays there despite the bluetooth already being turned on.
The other computers in our house are Linux, and I haven't seen anything about Fitbit working with straight Linux yet.
