I am having the same problem with my Fitbit One.  It worked until February 26, it now says I am inactive and friends nor I am recieving any information on my Fitbit Account and I cannot sync.  Any ideas, if I restart my device does it wipe out all the walking info. ,  I have completed in the past?

On my first post I was advised to put my connect my Fitbit to th computer, hold the button down for 10 - 12 seconds, remove and hold down the button till it restarts. Did that but my tracker still won't sync to either my iPad or my PC. My tracker is tracking my activity, but will not sync. Not too happy rite now 😡

Same problem here, but a little different.  I did the thing where you connect to the computer, hold down button, etc and it synced right away.  I went out and walked and now it won't sync again.  Restarted my computer, refrested my dashboard and still nothing!  Wondering if this is going to be an ongoing problem and I'm going to have to reconnect every time.  Very frustrating.

My Fitbit One is doing the exact same thing. I have tried all the suggestions and steps in the help section of the support site and nothing has changed. My fitbit One is tracking on the fitbit only. On my Iphone and MacBook Pro I am getting a message that I have no recent activity. My friends are getting the same message.

Well, I reinstalled and now I'm syncing with no problem, but now the only information I'm getting on my dashboard is the little graph showing my activity and my friend's steps.  All that's showing in the other windows is a little swirling circle.  I'm really getting fed up.  I think Fitbit better figure out a solution!

Hi guys how are you doin' today? @res289, try the steps I posted earlier and let me know. Smiley Wink

@paulamak Ok, perfect, so now it seems that your Fitbit One is syncing again, so to fix this issue with the Fitbit website, please try clearing your browser's cache. Directions on how to clear your cache on a variety of browsers can be found on this link: http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cache. Then please try to sync, using your preferred Internet browser. It should be displaying the tiles fine!

Let me know the outcome!

Hey hey hey @LAS58 how are you doin'? Smiley Happy if your tracker seems not to be syncing with your computer, I suggest you to try the following steps to fix it by using your PC or Mac:

  1. Try initiating a manual sync:

    1. Click the Fitbit Connect icon and click Open Main Menu.
    2. With your charged tracker nearby, click Sync Now.
    3. You may be asked to sign in to your Fitbit account, after which your tracker should sync. If you see a message saying your tracker can't be found, wake it up by pressing its button

  2. Check if your tracker synced by clicking the gear icon in the top right of your fitbit.com dashboard. You'll see the last sync time below the image of the tracker.

  3. If your tracker didn't sync, restart your tracker using the instructions in How do I restart my tracker?

  4. If your tracker still won't sync, uninstall and reinstall Fitbit Connect using the instructions in How do I reinstall Fitbit Connect?

  5. If your tracker didn't sync, and you have access to a mobile device, try syncing with the Fitbit app.

  6. If you sync with an Android device but want to sync with Fitbit Connect:

    1. In the Fitbit app, tap the tracker tile twice and turn off Always Connected to avoid interference.
    2. Turn off Bluetooth on your Android device.

If you are using a computer with Windows 10, let me know, and I will post the instructions for that software.

Let me know the outcome! Cat Happy

Hi @JCKKB374 thanks for letting me know that your Fitbit One is syncing again!

@LAS58 welcome to the Community! If you have a Windows 10 computer, please follow the next tips to make your tracker sync:

- REQUIREMENTS

  • You installed the Fitbit app on a supported mobile device or PC. For an up to date list of supported devices, visit http://www.fitbit.com/devices.
  • Your mobile device software is updated to the latest version. To check, go to Settings > system > phone update.
  • Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device or PC. To check, go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth. If your tablet or computer doesn't support Bluetooth, you must connect it with your tracker using the charging cable (Fitbit Blaze) or the wireless sync dongle (all other trackers) to sync your data.
  • If you're using a PC, make sure you don't have Fitbit Connect installed. To check, look for the Fitbit Connect icon located near the date and time on your computer undefined If you see the icon it means Fitbit Connect software is installed on your PC.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If all the requirements are met and your tracker won't sync with a PC running the Fitbit app for Windows 10:

1. Make sure that your tracker is paired ("connected") via Bluetooth. To do so, from the Start menu go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth. Note that Bluetooth should be on and you should see your Fitbit tracker on the devices list with the word “Connected” below it.
2. If your tracker is connected but won't sync, it's possible that the Bluetooth signal is weak or compromised temporarily. Insert the wireless sync dongle that came with your tracker into a USB port. Note that Fitbit Blaze does not come with a dongle; it can connect to your computer directly via the charging cable.
3. If your tracker is not connected:
- Tap or click the tracker name and choose Remove Device.
- Make sure your tracker is nearby and wait for it to reappear in the devices list.
- When it does, tap or click the tracker again and choose Pair. Pairing can take several minutes but you'll see a progress bar. Pairing is done when the status changes to “Connected.”
- If you're still unable to sync, contact Customer Support so we can investigate the issue and get you back on track.

Occasionally you'll receive a prompt to insert the dongle a moment before Bluetooth finds your tracker and syncs. To make sure your tracker syncs:

1. Tap or click Account. The time of your last sync appears below the tracker name.
2. If the sync isn't recent, insert the dongle. A sync should initiate immediately.
3. To force a sync, tap or click the ellipsis icon (three dots) in the top right of our dashboard and tap or click sync now.

I hope that helps!
