One won't sync with IOS 9.3.1

My Fitnit One was working great until I updated my phone. Now it won't sync. I have turned Bluetooth off and on, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, powered down the phone and then on again. I am waiting for the battery on my One to die and see if it will sync after that but would like to get it working sooner if possible. Does anyone have a different suggestion?

I wish I could give you a magic answer -- the "I had the same problem and this is how I fixed it" answer.  But I updated my devices with no problem.

 

Try restarting your tracker -- don't let the battery go dead before recharging.  Completely discharging a lithium ion battery shortens its lifespan.

Thank you for the tip on the battery. Looking on another discussion thread I was able to solve the problem. I plugged it into my computer and held the button for 20 sac. Then I was able ti sync it to my phone. 😀

Hi!

I have the same problem, but have not succide with heldin the button for 20 sec. It was not plugget in to my computer, only a charge device.
My HR have never been synced with a computer, only the iPhone, so I cant see the point of plugg it into a computer nom.

My problem also started with 9.3.1 update. The firbit help screens says hold down the reset button on bsck of device for three to four seconds. I had to reset several times over the course of the day yesterday.

I am using a flex so this isnt limited to one device but seems related to the ios 9.3.1 update.

no problem after have upgraded my 6s to sync my Surge.

nothing done.

My Fitbit is not synced with my computer.  When I plugged it in I just held down the button for about 20 seconds.  It reset.  I unplugged it and it synced right to my phone.  If you are still having issues I recommend giving it a try.

I had to do this multiple times throughout the day yesterday so i wouldn't say this was the solution for me . By later in the afternoon i had no further problems and fitbit syncing regularly finally.

Fitbit Flex has suddenly stopped syncing and battery run out very quickly.  I downloaded the latest iPhone update and it was fine for a few days so I don't think its connected to that, I only bought the device this January and it's now useless 😞  How do I go about talking to customer services as it must still be in warranty,  Too much money to spend for it to only last a couple of months!

Welcome guys @HVCBurnett @cwaysom! Did you contact Support @cwaysom? If you've tried all the suggestion posted without luck, I'd recommend reaching them for a deeper investigation.

Happy to report that after contacting Fitbit support, I have received a replacement tracker - good efficient service.
