The 'One" is designed to 'clip' onto clothing and I have been clipping mine to my delicate thin lacey bra every day. It it not subject to any rough fabric or rubbing or any unusual abrasions, however, for almost a year now I have been needing to find ways to keep the silicone 'cover' attached to the clip in the back of the 'One'. I have been wearing this since the day I received it - every day - and only on my bra. I do not use any chemicals or abrasive cleaners on either the 'One" or the cover. I have only rinsed the cover with clean water and used a soft bath towel to dry it off. I really do not even have to clean it much since it is always attached to either my bra or my PJ's. My concern is that I will need to replace this cover every year due to the silicone splitting in the inside center of the clip for the price of $15.00 each time. Humm.. seems like there should be a way around that happening. I attached pics of the split and you can tell by looking at it that there was no other damage done to it or any intentional cutting or ripping. This has occured from the normal wear and tear of putting it on and taking it off every day. I would suggest that you can figure out some way to incorporate a more durable material to the part of the cover that bends over the top of the clip and down to the back tip. That way you can keep the soft silicone in the front and the actual clip part can be a thick soft powder coating or liquid silicone or even the material you are using on the back tip rather than the soft flexable silicone. The other concern is that I have been using small rubber bands around the front of the cover, around the actual 'One' itself just to keep it from falling out of the cover. When you do figure out a new cover design, maybe you can include a piece of silicone that goes across the front of it to keep the 'One' from falling out. From my discussion with customer service, it seems that it is expected that the customer is will need to pay to replace the cover every year. Please take my ideas into consideration and do contact me for any questions, I am happy to help.

It is nice to see new members around the Community @Draec27! And I'm very sorry to hear that the clip of your Fitbit One is getting damage. If you already contacted Fitbit Support, then they should give you an alternative option for this, for example, a replacement for this damage accessory. But if that wasn't the case, please contact them again for that.
On the other side, I really appreciate your feedback regarding this. I received some others regarding the same problem, and trust me, our developers team here at Fitbit is taking into consideration, improving the quality of the Fitbit One, as well as the other trackers.
I appreciate your comments and I hope that this can be resolved!

Great post, Draec27! I go thru at least 3 of these a year. Of course Fitbit won't improve these, why would they when it's a huge money-maker for them to have people regularly buying replacements @ $15 a pop! This reminds me of printers. Buy the printer for dirt cheap, then pay thru the nose for ink cartridges for years. Mach 5 razors come to mind as well. I've tried some copy cat replacements, but so far they're just as bad or worse. Attention, entreprenuers, there's a niche here begging to be filled!

I had an issue with the end piece of the belt clip coming off, which exposed the metal prong, which in turn, would dig into my skin. I contacted Fitbit, and they are sending me a new belt clip at no charge. Great and quick customer service!
