Setting Up a One as a New Owner

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I've sold my Fitbit one and the new owner says it's still showing as linked to my account. I've checked my account and I can't see it as linked. Is there anything I can do to resolve this? Can they still set it up to their account?

Did you remove it from your Bluetooth?

Did you sync it before you turn it over? If not it will move the steps not synced to the new account. This could be why she thinks its still linked to your account.

If thats the case she can delete the account and start over.

@Lornarobi Welcome to the Fitbit family! Thanks for posting your inquiry on this thread regarding setting up a new One.

In this case, as you already removed the One from your account; what your friend need to do is setting up the One using a completely new email address. Your friend will need to create a new account and set it up there following the steps on this help article.

If those steps doesn't work, tell your friend to try these set up troubleshooting steps to get this sorted.

@WendyB Thanks for your help on this thread.

Hope this helps. Keep me posted! Smiley Happy
