Step count on fitbit, MacBook and phone app are different

Hi all!  I'm new to fitbit and still learning how this neat little gadget works.  I'm getting a little frustrated though because the count on my fitbit (right now it's 15,773) is different from my MacBook (15,321) and my Samsung Galaxy S5 (15,208).  What's up with that and how can I get them to all show what my fitbit has?

Hey there @LMA408 welcome to the Community! Your app and online dashboard will update once you sync. Syncing is the process that transfers the data your tracker collects to your Fitbit dashboard, so it's normal that you see a different amount on your tracker after the last sync.

You can learn more about your brand new Alta at the product manual, give it a look!
