Trying to sync one to new phone..keeps saying enter 4digit number but can't find one...

Welcome to the community!
You don't need to re-pair your Fitbit with your new phone. Just log in to your account from the Fitbit App and it'll establish the Fitbit pairing.
Just sync from the App the way you used to.
