I have a fitbit One that counts way too many flights of stairs. It has been replaced by another One, (deemed faulty by customer service) but it too does the same thing. I understand how it counts floors, and why, and I guess it is just a feature I have to live being disappointed with. However, I have read that I can negate these floors by entering "driving" into my activity log. I have tried this several times, all duration/start and end times (it does not show me seconds) and dates are correct but it does negate anything. Why are some people able to negate data but I cannot? Thanks..

Welcome to the forums!
The problem with removing them is you need to enter the range and start time. Sometimes that's hard to figure out

I usually just ignore them as it doesn't add any added Calorie burn.
Is it happening while driving? As a lot of people use DriveBit app on their phone and it will remove them.
