On March 6th, my fitbit and iPhone stoppped syncing. I have tried all the help tips on the website, turned my phone on an off, turned my bluetooth on and off, yet it was still searching for the device to sync.
I deleted the app from my phone-then reinstalled the app. Now, I am unable to set up my device and my phone is still searching for it. Both devices are fully charged.

I am having the same issue but my app is on a Nokia Windows phone.
I have been able to reconnect to my laptop but the device cannot be found by my phone.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Interesting...the same exact thing happened to me on March 3rd. Everything was fine, and then the One just stopped syncing. I tried customer service and all they really did was walk me through the same steps you find on the site. Resetting the One, turning phone on and off, checking my bluetooth connection on my computer, etc. They concluded it was just not working any longer and told me that i needed a new Fitbit. They offered a 25% discount on a new product. It's a shame that it no longer syncs, because the actual Fitbit still tracks all of my info.

I have had my One for less than a month so I won't be buying a new one!
How bizaarre though, I have just switched off my phone, switched it back on gone to try again and it is synced and all the information is there!

Hi @ineedausername. Next time you have syncing issue, you can try the same thing; or close all open apps running in the background. Turning bluetooth off and back on after 20 seconds or so often does the trick. I am not here to fend off for Fitbit, I don't have a dog in this race. But my wife and I have had our Fitbit One trackers for two years now and both are still going strong. So I wouldn't give up on it just yet, unless you have other issues with it. Cheers!

Hi @bbonzo. Your Fitbit One does not pair with your phone's Bluetooth settings but via the Fitbit app (although you must have Bluetooth turned ON). Here are a couple of tips that might work, if you haven't already tried them already.
Good luck!

Same problems here. My actual fitbit works fine but as of this morning, it stopped syncing with my iphone app. I also looked at my dashboard and it won't track my steps although it does show calories burned. I had this problem about 4 months ago and after trying all the suggestions listed on the site, I registered the fitbit as a new fitbit using a different email address and it worked again up until this morning. I'm running out of email addresses to use.
I've turned my iphone on and off, turned my bluetooth off and then back on again but nothing works. Any other suggestions?

Hi @SunsetRunner. When you cycle through the Bluetooth OFF and back ON again, try waiting 20 seconds or so before your turn it back ON. Also, if you have many other apps running in the background, it may be that your phone RAM's is being stretched - I would suggest turning off all apps prior to running the Fitbit app. If not already done, please restart your Fitbit One tracker, using the instructions in How do I restart my tracker. Please be prepared to repeat the restart process two or three times if need be, perhaps holding the button down a little longer, 20 seconds or so, until you get to see "Ftibit 6.60" on your One's display. Please give us an update.

Turned bluetooth on and off countless times, turned off all apps running in the background of my iphone and tried restarting my fitbit but nothing helps. Now, after all of that, I am missing the tile that shows steps on both my iphone app and also in the dashboard on the fitbit site. I'm beginning to think this is a fitbit software glitch because this has happened twice in the past 2 years since I've had my fitbit.
To save my sanity, I deleted the app from my phone and will just use the data as it shows up on my fitbit one. That at least still works. Thanks for all your help
