Hi, I had something very similar myself this week but finally resolved it by Restarting the Fitbit by plugging it into it's cable connected to the PC then holding the button down until you get a message "Fitbit 6.60" or something like that - it takes a good 10 - 20 seconds. My Fitbit then synced and is working well.

Welcome to our Community @Hazebabes! Thanks for joining us! I agree with @Cheryl001's suggestion a restart always work. If the restart doesn't work tell them to try set up the tracker as a new device by following the steps provided in this thread.
