Won't sync - red triangle!

I'm stumped! I bought fitbits for my mum and dad as Christmas presents. They love them only Dad is now unable to sync. Every time he tries a red triangle pops up. They are not very Tec savvy and we feel fairly helpless as we live on the other side of the world! Everything we've suggested has failed. Anyone else had this issue or have any ideas of things they could try?

Hi, I had something very similar myself this week but finally resolved it by Restarting the Fitbit by plugging it into it's cable connected to the PC then holding the button down until you get a message "Fitbit 6.60" or something like that - it takes a good 10 - 20 seconds.  My Fitbit then synced and is working well.

Welcome to our Community @Hazebabes! Thanks for joining us! Smiley HappyI agree with @Cheryl001's suggestion a restart always work. If the restart doesn't work tell them to try set up the tracker as a new device by following the steps provided in this thread.
