Hi i got my Fitbit yesturday and i noticed some shops sell wrist bands for it that allows you to wear it like a watch, i feel this would be better because there is less chance of losing it but could someone tell me if wearing it on the wrist would still produce acurate readings ? thanks for your advice.

The One is designed to be worn clipped close to the torso and it assumes that is where it is being worn. If you wear it on your wrist it will not know that and will assume that the motion it detects is the motion of your torso rather than your wrist. It will therefore likely overestimate the calories burned.
