IDK if there is a site problem or if my Fitbit finally died. I can't force sync it b/c the site says "server is busy." I'm trying to determine if it is a site problem, or if it is time to get out the spare Fitbit, b/c my button isn't responding. Nothing is turning on or lighting up.

It should not lose any steps. It retains them up to 7 days. When it syncs again these steps should go over.
If they are gone off your device its not the server there is something wrong with your device

Hi @SherrySharpnack and welcome to the forums! You have a One! That sure was a great device. The servers are not busy as far as I know. I’ve been in and out all day without a problem. But it would not hurt to close the Fitbit app ... power your phone off completely ... wait a few minutes ... power it back up and try again. It looks like it may be time to bring out the spare or treat yourself to a newer Fitbit model. Lots to choose from! And the Inspire can be worn in a clip if you prefer to stay with that type of model.
