my fitbit one will not keep a charge

For 2 days now i have charged my fitbit fully (once on my computer, and one at a wall out let) and after showing a full charge I take it off and then by the end of the day it's dead and I have no steps for the day.  Is there a fix for this or do I need a new One. It is just shy of 1 year old i had to replace a 3 year old One that I lost, I am hoping this is not a treand

In this case I recommend that you try the following tips that could help you improve the tracker's battery life:

  • If you use the Fitbit app, make sure All-Day Sync is turned off. All-Day Sync increases battery drain on both your tracker and mobile device. To find the setting, open the app and tap Account. At the top of the screen tap One to see your settings, then scroll down.
    (Android only) Turn off the Always Connected setting. Similar to All-Day Sync, it can reduce battery life.
  • If you have many silent alarms set, consider deleting some. Each alarm you add up to the maximum of 8 reduces battery life by a small percentage.
  • Remember to avoid charging your tracker in extreme heat or cold.

 

If the tips I just mentioned don't work I would definitely go with what @WendyB mentioned and contact the Support Team
