Hi. I honestly haven't turned on this fit bit I have since 2015. my husband wants to use it now. we bought a new charging cable, but I don't have the dongle anymore. any how, nothing it happening with the fitbit. we've charged it for 3 days. green lights flash when we connect the charge and the screen will show v102 after 25 seconds or so if we hold the button down, but that's it really. I'd really like to get this old fitbit working! any suggestions?

Lithium Ion batteries can be permanently damaged if not charged for a length of time.

 

I'm sorry but its dead. Nothing you can really do.

thanks for the info, even if the screen is lighting up to down degree?
wouldn't it just not work at all if that were the case with the battery?
just wondering.

@theburg206 you are telling us that the screen lights up and powers up fine.

Does the unit count steps?

Have you tried to set it up?

Do you have a computer with bluetooth? Or a smart phone?

If your computer doesnt have bluetooth you should be able to use any bluetooth dongle connected to the computer.
