I really like the Charge 3 and the 4 in terms of function and ease of use, but I've never owned a more unreliable piece of any hardware than the Charge 3. My wife had 1 fail and I've had 2 in the last year. My second was a replacement for the first which had a screen failure...9mths later, the second has failed. We are not extreme athletes and frankly pretty much baby our trackers, but they've failed in normal use. I was pleased with the fast response on chat and few questions asked replacement of the first failed unit, but the latest response I have is that these devices are "built to last" and may fail due to things "outside human control". These are ill considered responses in my mind - I have been in the semiconductor/optical communications field for 30 yrs and this kind of poor reliability simply isn't tolerated and would result in a product recall. I'm not asking for that. This feels a bit like rusting car body work pre-2000 or so....surely someone makes a reliable tracker?

Hi there @topearso5. Welcome to Community Forums.
I appreciate the comments and insights you gave us, I'm sorry you feel this way about your tracker. Can you detail the latest issue you had with your device?
Please verify you have the latest Fitbit Firmware and the latest OS of your mobile device. Also if you are looking to upgrade you can check on our latest trackers such as the Fitbit Charge 5 or the Inspire 3.
Hope this helps.
