I work 3rd shift so I sleep in the afternoon and my day starts at 8:30pm. Is there any way to set your Fitbit so it doesn’t reset at midnight?

Unfortunately, the midnight reset is fixed and cannot be changed. There is a popular feature suggestion to allow it to be changed for night shift workers and if you'd like to add your vote you can find it here:
Note, though, Fitbit's comment that they don't currently have plans to make this change. Perhaps with more votes they may reconsider.

Best AnswerOK I can understand that it needs to reset at 12am but why can't it allow you to put in 2 separate active periods for me that would be 6pm-12am and 12am-8am then at least it would be expecting my active time while I'm at work. That can't be too much for them to do to accommodate 3rd shift workers
Best AnswerHello @Luckylucy1664 and welcome to the Community. The hours must be consecutive and this is the basic programming of the feature. I don't know how much is "too much" when it comes to programming, but Fitbit seems to have made up it mind on this.
