Just found the answer in comments. Lol. Sorry. Larrypoz's advice worked for me. I entered driving as an activity at the precise time those steps were added and it worked! Ty, Larry.

I just searched for this as it happens about once a week. I use the fitbit versa 2. The problem is that it automatically logged 85k steps in 15 minutes and sent it straight to my calorie app. My calories, as a result, are 5800. =/ It totally messed up my diet for the day and there's no way to remove it from that app. Anyone know how to delete these yet? Thank you in advance.

Wow, @Mayrouge ! Even my 10 year old grandson does not get that many. First things first, please re-start your Charge 2. I’ll look into removing those steps and get back to you.

Affects me too. At least once a week. Normally at 345am. No answers on a fix so i just go in and log a DRIVING activity at that timeframe and the steps are removed.
