All of a sudden, I wasn't able to sync my Fitbit Charge 2 with the Fitbit app on my iPhone XS max. I was given the message Error 1006 Ray ID: 54e4cad85b37d9b8 Access denied 2020-01-01 13:20. It further said "The owner of this website (www.fitbit.com) has banned your IP address (209.58.163.228)

As a result I am unable to use my Fitbit app anymore. I even tried deleting & reinstalling the app but it has not worked so far.
Is it time to leave Fitbit & move to a competitor?
