@Jgi It would appear your type of activity can be like mine but I have a HR model and that picks up the effort via the HR calories.. I found when I used the pedometer type Fitbits I had to be more aggressive in my activity so that the steps/time relationship pushed the calories up..
But a backward step I am lose about 1000 steps comparing my trusty Fitbit One but the HR on the Ionic compensates for that..

Thanks. I will check this out. Looks like I am not steadily consistent in my activity.

Welcome to the Forums @Jgi.
Thanks for bringing this up! Let me help you figure out what is going on.
Was this something that changed or did it never show the active minutes? Are you referring to seeing them on the Fitbit or on the app's Dashboard?
It is important to remember that active minutes do not necessarily mean 'minutes you were doing an activity' but it is more related to the intensity of the workout being performed. You can click here to read more about it.
Let me know if there are any further questions. I look forward to your reply.

@Jgi Active minutes require 10 minutes of consecutive active above 3 times your Basal Metabolic Rate.. You can get BMR from your sleeping Calories which is near enough for the comparison or use this calculator and divide the result by 1440 minutes in the day.
This link helps explain the Active minutes..

On rare occasions it shows up on dashboard. Usually it shows nothing. We live in 20 acres and are always reasonably active.

I have tried all the fixes mentioned here. My Charge HR started not showing active minutes 3 days ago. I’m really frustrated. Are there any other fixes?
