As in many other posts around here that Fitbit has been ignoring, one of the banks that I haven’t seen in these posts is Monzo.
I know Monzo is not one of the big banks in the UK. However it is growing really fast and since Fitbit already has Starling and Revoult I don’t see why not add the biggest mobile banking to the mix.
Please add Monzo to Fitbit Pay.
I am using a charge 3.

Hi @SunsetRunner . Please understand that Fitbit is not ignoring bank requests. In order for a new bank to be added, it has be a two part effort between Fitbit and the bank in question. I would suggest you contact Monzo and let them know you want them to work with Fitbit to make their bank compatible with Fitbit Pay,

Hi Carol, I have contacted Monzo recently about this matter and they answer that their development team is looking into adding Fitbit Pay, however, they do not have a timeframe to when this is going to happen.
What I don't understand is how most of UK major banks have not been added to Fitbit Pay.
Are you suggesting that none of these banks made an effort to add Fitbit Pay? That seems highly unlikely and hard to believe.
Is also worth mention that the gap between the banks supported in the US versus the UK is massive, and as far as I am aware of, Fitbit has not added any banks other than Revolt for months!
As you said, it is a two-part effort and it seems that Fitbit has not made much effort here in the UK regarding Fitbit Pay.
Customers barely have any update about this matter and Fitbit advertisement is somewhat misleading. When looking to buy a Fitbit it is not clear that their new Fitbit won't support any major bank in the UK other than Santander.

Hi Tiago
I totally agree with you.
I just bought a Fitbit Versa 2. One of the main reasons I did it was to use FitBit pay. I was very disappointed to discover Monzo was not supported. The advertisement is misleading in this sense. There is no mention a limited amount of banks are currently supported.
I hope Monzo will get onboard soon.

In response to fitbit, I would like to also see monzo and barclays on the Fitbit bank list. I was willing to buy the fitbit watch with the payment features. Its shame they dont show the banks that I have. I like the other features that the watch offers. If it doesnt accept certain bank cards, can they accept ones that are Visa and Mastercard approved as well.

I hope all of you are contacting and messaging monzo and barclays. The more people who request they partner with Fitbit Pay, the better.

I completely agree. I have just bought Fitbit charge 4 and mainly about it due to Fitbit pay. Thought it will benefit specially during covid, being contactless and all. I hope Fitbit adds monzo and other major UK banks to the list

@Chiliku - It’s mondo who has to make the effort. You should contact them.

That is an unacceptable answer, it is not up to the customer to do Fitbit's work. The audacity!

@Bbdprt - It would be nice if Fitbit could take on the responsibility of contacting all the banks in all the countries where there are Fitbit users. Since this is not the case, it never hurts to make the contact yourself and let the banks know your want them to make this service available. This is a community forum. You could try contacting Fitbit Support. These folks are actual Fitbit employees. Maybe they can tell you more.
