Thanks for the additional info, @SunsetRunner . It seems Fitbit is not planning to add that feature to the Charge 3. It has been suggested in the Feature Suggestion forum. You can add your vote there, if you want.

They might add that feature cause all the people who own the charge 3 want the spotify so who knows they might put that feature in the next software update for the charge 3
