Incorrect syncing???

This morning my charge 3 jumped from 100 steps to over 10000 randomly. I have tried every reset possible. The charge percentage wasn't syncing correctly with the app, and then it just stopped syncing all together. The charge percentage is now back to normal as well as the syncing but i have an insane step count and calorie burn for the day which is totally incorrect. Will it reset itself? It's such a simple question yet I have no solid way of getting an answer. No one answers on here and trying to reach customer support via phone or email is like playing a game of cat and mouse. I've had nothing but problems with this tracker since I got it in July.
