Thought all was going well, had the device 2 1/2 weeks and now the all day sync doesn't work
The heart rate on the app only shows my resting heart rate since this has happened, could this be something to do with the recent ios update on my phone?
I have reset the phone and the charge 3 several times but its still wont let me switch on the all day sync, I can slide the switch across but just get the spinning icon??

Yes, telling iOS to forgot your Fitbit and doing a repairing helps. For like a day, if you're lucky. Then all day sync will stop working again. It's frustrating. I've done this multiple times during the day, and the connection ultimately fails. At this point, I'm finding it incorrect to even suggest this product can do all day sync, get notifications and so on because it's so undependable.
Best AnswerDid you try removing all other things in your Bluetooth settings that you’re not using? I think that was the trick. Just forgetting and re-syncing wasn’t enough.

Best AnswerI just meant the ones you weren’t using. I had a few extras in mine (old rental cars, etc). I still had my old Fitbit there and I really thought that maybe that was the problem.
Best AnswerThis solution also worked for my Inspire synced with my iPhone 8. Thanks so much for the solution. I wasted a lot of hours trying to get notifications to work.
Best Answeri did that this morning and it worked for 6 hours, now will not sync - so very frustrating!!!
Best AnswerIt seems this thread is no longer about how to enable all day sync, but on how to fix an ios non syncing issue.
Best Answer@Germtan their never was an option to turn on All Day Sync. A few years ago, fitbit removed the option to turn off All Day Sync.
To sum up, All Day Sync is on and the user can not disable this function.
May I ask what the issue is?

Best AnswerI had this issue and then it resolved and then I stopped getting alerts on my Fitbit again. I didn’t get notifications for about a year until I did more digging. If I remember correctly I went to Bluetooth forgot my Fitbit and then re-added it. Usually when I mess with it I would restart my device. I also went into my settings on my iPhone and made sure that on the notifications for messages that everything was turned on. Going into the notifications is what fixed the issue I’m pretty sure. I hope this helps.
