Hi new user here, forgive me if this is a stupid one.
My app seems to sync ok but I can’t ‘expand’ any of the sections (i.e. sleep, exercise etc), nothing happens when I tap the +
Worked fine until today.

This won't explain why it changed for you, but generally tap over the text in the middle or at the left to open for more info; tap the + to add something.

Any advice of this issue would be appreciated. I did indeed tap on +, text , icon-nothing is happening, has anyone had this problem before and how it was resolved?

you could try rebooting the phone.
If that doesn't work you could remove the app then download it again.

I am having the same issue - don’t really want to delete and reinstall as I will lose my historical data ? Is there another rfix?

I don't know if deleting and reinstalling app is the fix, but when a sync completes, all your data goes to the central fitbit database stored by your fitbit ID/email. So if you have done a recent sync, and you log back into the app with the same ID (make sure you remember your password), that data is not lost.
