I got my first Fitbit (Charge 3) and was very happy with it until it stopped displaying and responding. I tried everything from rebooting device to reconnecting to my phone. I contacted support and they gave me a 50% discount so I upgraded to a Charge 4. Now the Charge 4 had the screen come off and one cable become disconnected and I did nothing strenuous with my tracker. I never got it wet and and never showered with it even though I could have. I only used it during daily use. I contacted support and of course my tracker is out of warranty. This time they only gave me a 35% discount. After having 2 trackers fail on me due to no cause of mine, why should I buy another one. I am seriously considering something else like a Garmin or such. Can any one tell me why I should stay with Fitbit after all the troubles I have had with them.

I think it all depends on what you plan to use it for. For me, I migrated over to the Pixel Watch which has Fitbit integration and does everything I need it to. I can see the screen much easier in daylight and take calls on my watch without issue, both of which are critical for my job.

Thank You DramaQueenDiva, after putting money into 2 Fitbit trackers, I did not want to put more money into them and have the same thing happen again. It seems they last until the warranty runs out then fall apart. I will check it out.

Actually DramaQueenDiva, I found a Fitbit Charge 5 pod only on Ebay for $50 and am going to give that a try. $50 was my limit if I got an offer from Fitbit so it works out well. My chargers and wristband from my Charge 4 should fit the Charge 5 so it is an easy swap. Thanks for the advice. I checked out the Pixel Watch and for the price and reviews I was a little hesitant.
