Automatically choosing activity

My charge 3 should be able to choose automatically which sports-activity I am doing. But I cannot find how to activate this. Normally, if I start walking, I choose on the Fitbit: training, running (because there is no walking). So in the app it appears as running. How can walking be chosen?

Also on my Charge 3, it says "Exercise", not "training".  I assume that is what you meant.

 

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
