Over the last few days my Bmr has halfed, it's usually 1740 at the start of the day but it's now dropped to between 500 and 700.  Anybody know why? Thanks

This is often due to one or more of your profile settings being accidentally changed e.g. age, height, weight. It's worth a quick check at https://www.fitbit.com/user/profile/edit

I can't think what else could cause it. If you don't get any answers here then you may want to contact customer support as they may be able to see what's happening from the server side. You can get them via contact.fitbit.com

I've already spoken to them yesterday. I was hoping it may resolve itself overnight but it hasn't!  I thought I might find an answer on here. Thank you for your time.

Is it really the BMR, or could it be caused by a change in heart rate.

What do you mean a change in heart rate?

How do I find this out?

I have started to do treadmill and bike at the gym for 30 mins every other day calculating about 300 cals.

Would this effect it?

Thanks
